This December, the Hastings community celebrated the season with an unforgettable Winter Festival, filled with joy, creativity, and a strong sense of togetherness. The event, which brought together teachers, students, and parents, was more than just a celebration, it was a chance to give back and make a real impact.

The festivities kicked off with an array of fun activities, including games, story-telling carol singing, and a treasure hunt. There was also delicious food to enjoy, with everyone coming together to create a warm, festive atmosphere. But beyond the fun and excitement, the Winter Festival had a meaningful cause at its heart.

Thanks to the generous support of our community, we raised significant funds to support two important initiatives. A portion of the funds was donated to Ripple Africa, helping to support education and healthcare in communities that need it most. But perhaps the most touching part of the festival was the impact it had on the Casa Ronald McDonald in Madrid.

With the funds raised, we were able to purchase and deliver over 1000€ worth of toys to the children and families staying at the Casa Ronald McDonald, an incredible initiative that provides support to families with children undergoing treatment at the Hospital Niño Jesús. A few of our volunteers had the chance to visit the Casa Ronald McDonald, learning more about the cause and seeing firsthand how their efforts are helping those in need.

This visit was a powerful reminder of how our collective efforts can make a real difference in the lives of others, especially during the holiday season.
