More than speaking English
We combine language skills with globally recognised British and international qualifications, and the attributes for lifelong success.
A British education system is more than just an education in English. The ethos is to promote enjoyment of learning and encourage students to think critically and creatively.
We offer the british education curriculum adapted to incorporate the minimum requirements of the Spanish national curriculum so that the education can be validated by the Spanish Ministry of Education. Essentially this means that we use approximately 20% of our curriculum to teach Spanish:
Spanish language, literature, history and geography for native speakers.
Spanish as an additional language for non-native speakers.
A Broad Curriculum
We offer a broad curriculum including English, maths, science, languages, humanities, social sciences and creative subjects. We benchmark student progress throughout using UK testing systems and in the later years of school, students take internationally recognised qualifications:
IGCSEs (International General Certificate of Education) are taken in Year 11 when students are 15 or 16 years old.
A levels (Advanced Level) are taken in Years 12 and 13 when students are 16-18 years old.
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) is taken in Years 12 and 13 when students are 16-18 years old.
We are an official IB World School. The IB Programme prepares students for success in higher education and to be active participants in a global society.
